Mark 11:22-24 "Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, Go throw yourself into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, and believe that you have received it and it will be yours."
Spring of 2010 marks the 3rd anniversary since we founded Raivu For Kids. Inc and Raivu Industries.llc. It has been such a wonderful life changing journey. The end of April we took a trip to Minneapolis, MN to attend the Chistian Alliance For Orphans conference with Corey's parents. They along with Corey's brother and wife are full-time missionaries in Africa. The conference spoke alot on foster care and adoption both international and domestic. With tears in my eyes my heart was touched at all the stories and to know the trials two of my sisters and their families had to go through in order to adopt their children.
It is great to know that their are other people out there who have run or worked in a residential care facility in the states. They had many great inspirational words for us. We met many wonderful people at the conference with encouraging words of support and offering up their prayers for Raivu. We are looking forward to seeing where the new friendships will evolve.
On May 6th we went in front of the village of Richfield planning commission about have a piece of property rezoned for us to operate our residentail care center. The village planning commission said they felt the 10 acres parcel of land would not support our proposal with water and septic. They also had concerns about the traffic flow, and that if our vision did not succeed that the village would be left with whatever we built.
We believe that Raivu is God's calling on our life. When you can feel something with every ounce of energy inside you there is nothing else to do but have faith and move on... and keep looking... because we are called to serve. It is so great to know that God has something much greater just waiting around the next corner.
Many people have made contact with us regarding property in Washington and Waukesha counties that may fit with our vision. Along, with that we have received many great emails from people supporting our vision to impact the lives of kids.

Onto us finding a place to live in Washington County. We would not have guessed there were so many problems with bringing our dog "Jenna". This past week we were looking at duplexes to rent in West Bend. This is a completely new experience for us. Well, we had an appt for a showing and had arrived a little early. We were just conversing and Corey stated that it would be great if we could talked with the tenant that was moving out of the duplex we were looking at. Well, sure enough not even 5 minutes later she pulled in. First, Corey got out to talk with her then I followed. Well, she stated that management was great, however the next door neighbors though nice, they were involved in some questionable practices. The parent radar went off for the both of us. We agreed that we felt that place would not work. Well, later on we had a meeting regarding land that may be available a bit south of West Bend. Corey immediately asked the businessmen if they had any contact or knew of any place we could rent. They both said, "we think we can help you with that." Once again, we believe the favor of God was with us, they offered a ranch home to us in the woods that was on their property. Not only that, they offered it at what we can afford and Jenna can come!!
Today, we encourage you give it all to Jesus! Declare his favor in your life everyday and expect great things to happen!

Our campus directors and friends, Scott and Tina, who have been with us since the birth of Raivu are putting their house up for sale and are relocating also. We ask for special prayer for the transition for their family and for a quick sale on their home in Green Bay.
